The whole point of Germinate Records is to provide a stepping stone for developing and emerging artists, producers, engineers and music industry professionals while doing something good for people who need it most. 

Our purpose is simple, to give to others through music. 

Profits from our recordings go to several great causes. We give them to charity, put them back into further meaningful recording projects and use them to collaborate with our local and wider community on large-scale events that matter. 

Our artists are free to grow, they aren’t locked into exclusive recording contracts.  All we ask in return is that they give back through good deeds.  They can do this by conducting songwriting/performance workshops, mentoring younger artists or by helping out with our community events.
